Our new "guest"

Last week, I saw this small little fur baby literally sitting in the middle of my road in front of my house. I only saw him/her one time since then until just tonight! And, ever since that time, I kept praying to God that I did not see it lying DEAD in front of my house coming home from work at 11pm at night!

This kitten was so hungry it, although VERY skittish, let me pick it up and take it straight downstairs to our basement and into our large dog cage. I continued to feed it and give it water and a litter box and blanket. While waiting for my husband to get home to figure out WHAT to do with it! We have A LOT of red fox residing in our neighborhood who would LOVE to kill it for its' dinner! I REFUSE to allow that to happen - even if we have to surrender it to one of our local animal shelters!

I have to keep it separated from our other inside cats because I KNOW it probably has fleas, worms, etc. But at least it will be safe!
